The grapes for this wine are grown on Frederiksdal Gods by Nakskov, an area which faces the Langelandsbæltet and one of the few places in Denmark with a unique climate gives grapes a lot of flavors.

Soil is the ancient forest floor composed of light sandy loam on clay.

Wine is made in Højbakke vineyard which is adapted to modern principles.

This wine is composed of varieties:

Cabernet Cortis originally from France and introduced in Denmark in 2005 and Reberger which is a cross between Regent and Limberger and originally from Germany and introduced in Denmark 2005.

The blend of these grapes in the ratio 9 to 1 gives a spicy, fenolrig and much exeptionel unique character like Cabernet Sauvignon ..

The wine is medium dry with a reasonable level and acid tanin.

The grapes are harvested in early October from sticks planted in 2006.

The wine is fermented in the husk for 13 days and is then fermented finished in steel tanks.

After the wine has been with egechips for approx. 3 months.

The process of dyke Viner light red with raisin, cinnamon and a good fruit flavor.

The wine is well suited for light roasts, game and cheeses.
